What 45 days is used for
Forty-five days, about six and a half weeks, is a common payment term (“net 45”) and the length of some return and appeal windows. It is also a handy planning horizon for events: far enough out to book, close enough to feel real.
Count it in calendar days unless your agreement says business days. Forty-five business days is roughly nine weeks.
How the date is counted
The start date is day 0. Adding 45 days moves forward one calendar day at a time, through weekends, holidays, month ends and leap days, and the date you land on is the answer.
Answer = start date + 45 days
